To all things there is a season...

Im still hanging in some days. Not so well on other days. I have always had this battle to fight but sometimes it is just easier than others.

I lost my husband of 25.5 years on April 20, 2013 of massive heart attack at the age of 44. I don't want to follow in his footsteps but this has been a very hard time for me. I am striving each day to find a new routine and find my balance in my life.

I am trying to find my spark for life and fitness.

My Goals:
*****Long Term Goals*****

--My ultimate goal is to loose 80 pounds overall.

--My thighs will NOT rub together by summer time!

--I want to be comfortable tucking in my shirt.

--Increase water intake to 8 to 10 glasses a day.

--Sleep at least 8 hours a night.

--Exercise at least 15 mins a day.

--Eat at least 3 fruits/veges a day.

--Eat at least 3 meals a day with 2 to 3 snacks. (Eating every 3 hours)


*****Short term goals*****

--Counting down until I've lost in 10 pounds chunks.

--Getting under 220. (DONE)

--Getting symptoms of GERD under control and being able to sleep lying down. (DONE)

--Getting under 200.

--Getting under 175.

--Fitting back into my Medium Uniforms.

--Getting under 150.

---Goal Weight 147---

My Program:
Give an overview of what you are doing to meet your goals.

Small things at a time:
-Making myself eat 3 meals and snacks on a daily basis.
-I'm trying to eat every 3 hours to avoid getting hungry and to help keep my metabolism up.
- I'm increasing my fiber and lowering my fat content.
-Increasing my fruits and veges.
-Cutting down on my untimed snacking.
-Trying alternate methods of handling unexpected desserts.
