Hi, my name is Jessica and I'm 27 years old. I currently live in Colorado with my husband, Isaac, and my dog, Navarro :)

I have been active my whole life (socccer, softball, dance, field hockey, water polo, track, etc.) up until after I graduated from high school. That's when I started to put on the weight.

In 2006, I got engaged and wanted to look great for my wedding, so I lost 30 lbs. Slowly over the years the weight has crept back.

In May 2009 I weighed in at 217. That is the heaviest I've ever weighed myself. So, over the course of a few months I lost 10 lbs.

I found Sparkpeople on Friday, October 2, while searching for exercise videos online. Ever since I found SparkPeople, I have been addicted! I love the encouragement, challenges and all the bells and whistles of the site.

Got diagnosed with Gluten Intolerance in summer of 2010.

In 2011, I almost made it down to my goal weight (4 lbs away!).

Now in 2013, I am here to start again. I am back up to 200 lbs and need to get in shape to start trying to conceive. A healthier me = a healthier pregnancy.

    Hey, no problem at all! Don't worry, you'll get past that plateau. All you have to do is re-evaluate what you consume as well as your workout habits. A few minor tweaks here and there will make all the difference. You'll get there for sure! If anything, you already know that there is plenty of motivation on this site. Feed off of it! Keep me posted on how things go for you!
