Ready to tackle 2012

A new year and hopefully a succesful 2012 are my plans. I am going to approach this coming year completely different from years past....just haven't figured out how yet.

2011- New Intro...before I can get to that a little bout me from last intro....I have severe back issues that has left me disabled for going on 6 years. Every day things that people take for granted like doing dishes or walking to the mail box are more than difficult for me. I get 10 shots every month alternating in each area of the spine; neck, middle back and lower back. I also take pain meds and muscle relaxers daily. I also have to take heart meds, as I have had heart surgery as well.

So now for the stuff for 2011, I am taking this year on completely different. I was successful for the first 6 months last year and lost half my goal weight. Then in three months managed to put half of that loss back on. This year, well I am not making a weight loss goal. This year I am going to work on just being healthly. I am going to be Rockin' with my music. My own drum. Every day the plan will be to do something, eat something and be something more healthier. If by doing this, I am losing weight...that will be a bonus.

Thanks for your kind words. It is gentle spirits, like you that make spark people work. I am committed to the idea that going outside to do anything besides getting in the car is not needed today. I pray all our Spark Friends in high temp areas do the same.

Blessings and hugs

Thank you for the Spark Goodie! I really need the encouragement. I am out of my exercise routine, discouraged because the medication I am taking for the breast cancer has caused me to gain weight and will apparently keep me from losing weight until I finish the meds in 4 1/2 years. Argh!

Thanks for posting on my blog! My first of these tests was not as good as this one. I had 7 polyps removed the first time. So I wasn't sure what would happen this time. Thankfully I have started on this health journey and have improved my health immensely, I do believe that the diet and exercise changes have helped. I can't imagine what you have gone through, weren't you put asleep for the test? For me the test itself and removal was easy because I was asleep. The bad part was the drinking and going to the bathroom the day before and the time that it takes out of your life. But when you think about it, 2 days out of your life is worth it if they are able to find cancer in the early stages and treat it successfully. I sure hope that you are able to go back with better results. Take Care!
