Lost time is never found again

Prior to having children I was a fitness addict, always in the gym, following high protein low carb diets ... the result of following high protein diets and having toxemia during my pregnancy has resulted in kidney disease, hypertension and weight gain. I have realized that working out is not my problem since I go to the gym five days a week, it seems that portion control, eating way too much protein and starving myself is my problem. I am sure that using sparks will encourage me to break some ...

I have realized that working out is not my problem since I go to the gym five days a week, it seems that portion control, eating way too much protein and starving myself is my problem. I am sure that using sparks will encourage me to break some of my bad habits by incorporating eating a well balanced diet. I am so blessed that my husband told me about sparks, I look forward to finally meeting my goals as a way of a healthy life style change.

My Goals:
To be healthy and feel comfortable in my own skin ... oh and to stop telling myself I will never get my abs back, this type of negative talk will only force me to never get them back! I get support from my amazing husband, family and friends, I just need to be more supportive of myself and believe in me.

My Program:
Currently I am doing cardio four days a week until my kidney specialist gives me the okay to start back training with weights. I have recently elminated red meat and pork from my diet eating mostly fish, veggie meat replacements and soy products.

Personal Information:
Married to an amazing husband and blessed with two wonderful boys, living in Canada where it's not always cold .... and no we don't live in igloo's just in case your wondering.

Thank you SO MUCH!! I really appreciate you taking the time to leave me such a supportive message! I've read your story & wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts. I hope you get that ok to get back into weight training soon! Also, if you wouldn't mind sharing .... how much protein were you consuming? (I also follow a high protein diet, so want to make sure I'm not over-doing it) Thanks in advance for your help!

no, i do believe one other friend mentioned it...

so glad ur children will like it... i love whales... if i could do it over, i may just have marine biology and gone off studying whales for a whole lifetime...
