The Long Road to Health

Hi, I'm Donna (Nanner is a nickname from my childhood). I'm a 54 year old 3 time breast cancer patient given 40% chance of 5 year survival 17 years ago. Hysterectomy, oophorectomy, double mastectomy, I joke with hubby that I'm almost finished with my gender transition. I reside in beautiful Ontario, Canada.

Love of family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great nieces and great nephews, animals, gardening, the outdoors, RVing, laughing, thunderstorms keep me going.

This will make you giggle!

I have this great card..(green of course) on the outside it says "St. Patick's Day is a pointless holiday used as a poor excuse for reckless behavior...open it up...PICK YOU UP AT EIGHT?"

Perfect for you and me huh?

Happy St. Paddy's Day and may the luck of the Irish be with you always!

Huggers!

Hey there dear heart...just had to pop by your page and say hi! I LOVE the kitty pics...wow...they are growing by leaps and bounds and are just beautiful! Makes me miss my beautiful old boy Keanu...sooo much! But we are hoping to travel and it's kind of nice not having to worry about a senior kitty cat...still though the positives of owning a pet FAR outweigh the negatives!

Hi Nanner! Thanks so much for reading and commenting on my blog. You're right, this winter has just been awful. I also way overdue on a physical with a lab work-up, so that's a great idea. Thanks.

Happy Valentine's Day! Whoever you spend it with today may it be wonderful! *~ Paula *~

Q: What do squirrels give for Valentine's Day?
A: Forget-me-nuts.

Q: What did the valentine card say to the stamp?
A: Stick with me and we'll go places!

Q: What did the stamp say to the envelope?
A: I'm stuck on you.

Q: Why did the banana go out with the prune?
A: Because it couldn't get a date.

" Since there is nothing so well worth having as friends, never lose a chance to make them." (Francesco Guicciardini)
