The trail you rode your bike on is the one that I enjoy walking on now because I can walk as long or as short as I want. The picture that is on my SparkPage is actually C. G. Hill Park in Pfafftown - not too far from Reagan High School. It is a gorgeous trail, about 1/3 of a mile around that little lake but it has a couple of small hills/inclines & I've had a problem with my foot recently so flat is better. It also has an upper trail that is fairly flat & would probably have a nice view but the hill getting to it is pretty steep. Another nice park is in Lewisville but it also has some hills. Hopefully I can get back to the hillier trails soon.
Thanks for the comment on my Activity Feed. I actually don't have a good view of a sunset because of the trees around on this walking trail - just like to wait until it is a little cooler. It's one of the greenways in Winston called the Muddy Creek greenway. I like it because it is flat & paved and depending on where you access it you can walk for just a little over a mile up to about 6 miles. Lots of walkers, skaters & bikers, but not so crowded you feel uncomfortable.
Nancy, I actually just finished up a beginner's crochet class so now I am crocheting on top of knitting! I am crocheting up a simple handbag for myself, and I'm still knitting on an afghan that will be a gift. I finished cross-stitching the birth record for my newest niece - all it needs is to be framed. I have at least 3 other projects I'd like to start. Just wish I had more time. Take care and have a wonderful holiday season!
