Where did the time go?

So I think I could probably write the book of excuses because it seems I have used most of them to avoid losing weight. So now my daughter wants to do this and asked me to join her. So I am doing that. It's great to have somone to do this with in the house. Hubby is thin as a rail and eats nothing of nutritional value. Guess he will have to start eating right with the 2 of us cooking. LOL.

Now that I am 50 - oh my gosh, did I say that? - it is harder to lose. My mobility ...

Now that I am 50 - oh my gosh, did I say that? - it is harder to lose. My mobility limitations have increased quite a lot, but I will do exercises that I can do. It will be a challenge, but I'd like to be around for quite a while longer.

My goal ??? 10 pounds at a time. I'll just have to keep doing it until I get it right.

LONG-TERM GOALS:
Goal 1 - feel better about myself by losing weight to help my lymphedema and diabetes and spinal degeneration.

Goal 2 - feeling happy and satisfied with myself.

My Program:
Mostly trying to avoid emotional and anxiety eating.

Trying to watch the carbs and lessen the calories while trying to get more exercise.

Drink lots of water !!

Calling on Jesus to hold my hand through this journey.

Personal Information:
I'm a 50 year old Christian from Florida. I work as a Medical Transcriptionist from home. I have severe stage III lymphedema in both legs and my trunk, as well as diabetes and spinal stenosis and spinal degeneration. I have a lot of challenges, but I'll do my best to work around that to lessen my pain and better my health.

Other Information:
I enjoy creating mosaic artwork. I really enjoy cruising.
