The replacing of one thing for another; substitution: a change of atmosphere; a change of ownership. A transformation or transition from one state, condition, or phase to another: the change of seasons. Something different I have realized for quite sometime that change is what I want to become. I want to become better really with progress. With progress comes improvements and new possibilities, new in site on life and self. The time is not tomorrow or next week, or to start fresh on Mondays - The time is NOW. For the last while now although change has been been very slow, I grown to appreciate the consistency in my life, in my routine - but not so easily transformable in my diet. So there needs to be greater effort in this area for change and transformation to take place. I mean what is the point of working so hard and getting the blood pumped through my body if what my body is absorbing from food is less than pure. I have switched to about 80% of our fresh fruits and vegetables to organic and have done the same with out breads, pastas and rice. Now I have to stop giving it the processed treats and empty calories from candy and sugar. Sugar increase the aging processes but it also inhibits your immune system from doing its job for up to 5 hours. Just a small amount can really put a strain on our bodies. I want the change for myself so I can see stronger and leaner muscles. I can energy without reaching for any stimulants, so I can have the ability to grow. Feeding the mind with the wealth of fitness and nutrition is endless. I want to be that bottomless pit that wants to learn all it can. From studying my books, to studying the way food, minerals and vitamins helps my body to grow, help my mind absorb the information and truly enhance my life and the life of others. This is not a new year's resolution, this is about the here and now. The present. This is about my future, my life, my will to succeed and excel in all that I do. **************************************** ***************

My Program:
I am currently trying to maintain my current weight by toning and lowering my body fat. I do strength training 4 days a week and 4-5 moderate cardio session of 30-45 minutes. Keeping track of my food intake is what has helped me along. Visually seeing where my calories are coming from such as fat, protein and carbs has taught me a lot.
Personal Information:
I live in the GTA area with my beautiful family. I have been married for almost 8 years and am enjoying the benefits of being a stay at home mom with my 3 year old daughter while actively helping others reach there highest potential and fueling there bodies and minds.
