Second time's a charm, right?

Hi I'm Nancie. A couple of years ago I dropped 45 lbs on SP under the username CashlessNCR. For a lot of not really good reasons, I stopped doing the things that helped keep me on track with weight management. After more false starts than I can remember, I began again in February 2013. It was a new chapter, with new challenges,& new goals.

Now that I've achieved the weight goal I set out for myself, I'm thinking pretty intently about how to sustain this loss. Running and strength training with my own body weight have become a big part of this, because its exercise I can do any time, any where. I'm also thinking a lot more critically about what I eat, experimenting more with clean, healthy food.

Losing this weight twice has been enough. I'm going to maintain this so that the title of this page doesn't have to be "Third time's a charm".

Thanks for dropping by the blog and commenting --- the support really does help.

I've been a bit lackadaisical about posting my weight, even to the point of not bothering to change my "start" weight when I changed to a new scale and found out that my original one was 5lbs kinder than the new one - I just let the month that I changed scales look like a plateau. I have a feeling that I'm gonna be a lot more picky about recording the numbers for the next couple of months!

I'm just glad that I've got the Man, and you, and a few others to keep me laughing and having fun and staying out of "panic" mode.

Thanks for being here, and hope that your "reality" is wonderful this week!

The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now. Chinese Proverb

Whatever "tree" you're planting right now, may the roots run deep!
Hope to see you over on The Healthy Lunch Club!!
