Nana's MAKING IT HAPPEN!

Nice to meet you... I am so blessed with a wonderful husband of 13 years, a daughter who is a nurse and two beautiful 11 year old grandchildren, a 3 year old grandson and wonderful family and friends. I play handbells in my church bell choir and I love to decorate and garden. I have been an Administrative Assistant for 37 years. I LOVE being a "Nana" and I love my life! The only thing I would want to change is my weight and 2013 is the year I am going to make it happen!

SERENITY PRAYER
"God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change.
Courage to change the things I can.
And wisdom to know the difference."

Congrats, Debbie, on your loss! Thanks for stopping by my sparkpage and blogs. Always good to hear from friends. No, I do not have facebook, just one more thing I could not keep up with, lol. I try hard to make it to SparkPeople, but am not always able to keep up. Gone are the days of extra time in my life. It's good though. Work keeps me busy and I have a new partner to share my spare time with. He's wonderful, I am truly blessed to have been given a second chance in love. Tell everyone in MIHland hello for me, love ya, Liz.

MAKE IT HAPPEN!

"If you wait for things to be perfect, you'll be waiting a very long time. Instead, go ahead and fill your life with as much love and joy and goodness and positive experience as you can imagine.

There are plenty of reasons for not taking action, and numerous things that can go wrong. Be wise, careful, and reasonable to be sure, but don't be afraid to joyfully live.

This very day is overflowing with wonderful possibilities. Take hold of the best of those possibilities, and dive deeply into their richness.

Let go of your concerns about what others would think. Let go of your far-fetched worries about what might could go wrong.

Fill this day with the unique energy that is you. Make a positive and glowing contribution to the world that comes straight from your deepest purpose.

Today is a day to learn, to explore, to build and teach, to love and enjoy. Everything you need is here, ready for you to make it happen. "

ď There is no elevator to success. You have to take the stairs. Ē
Author Unknown

For most of us, things donít just happen overnight. With as many blessings as you might possess, you still have to work to make progress. This might not be an easy path to follow. More likely than not, you may not be able to take shortcuts, may not be able to skip steps. Donít give up. Keep climbing towards your goals. Hard work is the key. Do you want a raise at work? Youíre going to have to prove yourself; it probably is not going to be handed to you. Be consistent, and try rewarding yourself for each successful step you take towards your goal. That will keep you motivated. Take one small victory at a time, and keep climbing.

Thanks SP~!
