MY HEALTHY WEIGHT

I AM 50YRS OLD AND DESPREATLY NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT NOT SO MUCH FOR PHYSICAL LOOKS BUT I JUST WANT TO STAY HEALTHY. AS OF NOW I HAVE NO CHRONIC ILLNESS AND I WANT TO KEEP IT THAT WAY, I HAVE LET MYSELF GO QUIT A BIT AND NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT I DON'T WANT TO HAVE ANY HEALTH ISSUES. I HAVE A SICK HUSBAND AND I REALLY DON'T NEED TO BE UNHEALTHY EITHER. MY GOAL IS TO LOSE 33 POUNDS AND TO LEARN TO EAT HEALTHY AND KEEP THE WEIGHT OFF. My Goals:
My goal is stay healthy even if I can't lose the weight. I am feeling good and I have only lost about 6lbs. I think I am going to continue to stay on the sparkpeople webpage, but I am not going to try and lose any weight. If it comes off great but if it doesn't that's fine to. All I want is to feel good and if that means exercising and eating healthier then so be it. I just want to be around for those who love me and need me like my husband and my kids and grand-kids. I will leave it up to the Lord to help me in my journey even If I don't lose the weight I will continue to do what ever it takes to be healthy.

My Program:
I am eating healther foods and I am measuring everything I eat, tracking what I eat and how much I eat. I am all so tracking my exercise. I really do like to work out it makes me feel better. I am going to try and join more challenges in the 5k's or maybe do a 10k sometime soon.

Personal Information:
I love to bake that is my biggest down fall because everyone loves for me to bake to. My grand-children ask me every year to make them a character cake of their choice. I just enjoy being creative. I all so like to sew and do scrapbooking. My daughter took me to a scrapbooking party and I was hooked. I have all so learned to do the cake pops and I do cupcakes to. As you can see my hobbies have to do mostly with food so that is why I find it difficult not to eat what I make.

Other Information:
I love to read religious books like from Joyce Meyer and love to watch her show on tv. I like to listen to christen music and i love to watch movies that have something to do with life lessons that motivate us to seek the Lord. i love Jesus Christ and I am trying to better my life for him and my family. I have an ill husband so i Have been through some pretty rough times and that is how I found the Lord. So now I rely on him to get me through my day's and I have faith that he will help me succeed at what I need to do.

Oh your welcome Grannysue9 I look forward to getting to know you to and I really do appreciate all of you help and motivation. I wish you luck as well with your challenge losing 5% in 8 weeks. I don't always have motivation to exercise either. I find just counting calories will do the trick. It does mean I eat less than if I were exercising two hours a day, but it works for me. I try to exercise because it is good for me, not to lose weight!
