Another summer weekend is here. With all the BBQ's happening, I thought I better send along some delicious and healthy foods to help you get through the weekend. Hello my SparkFriends ! I hope you all are having a GLORIOUS day !
My husband and I will be leaving early Friday morning-July 1st- until July 11th on our annual motorcycle trip. So, I will not be on SparkPeople for a couple of weeks. I didn't want you all to think I dropped off the face of the earth. I shall miss you all ! I like to check up on you every day.

I belong to a weight group called TOPS. Take Off Pounds Sensibly. They are my weekly weigh in accountability. I started with them over 4 years ago. Starting weight-243lbs. As you can see I've lost a bit but am kinda holding around 200. My goal weight is 170. I'll get there, I know. Why am I telling you all this? Well, the talk we had yesterday at the meeting was from our TOPS book and workbook. Starting with motivation. The gal that did the program also handed out an Affirmation sheet to take home. I would like to share a few with you all. There are about 30 but I thought I would share a few each week to you, my SparkFriends.
1. I am an intelligent person. 2. I am focused and will stay on plan. 3. Better choices lead to better living. 4. I am losing weight to gain control. 5. The only person that stands in the way of success is me.
