Hi all, I'm back again. I left on 8/28/2016 Not because I want to , but the health problems got the better of me. I was 256 pounds when I left and now I am 270. !!!! Not as bad as when I fist started Sparks , but it shows Sparks works if you work at it. So I'm back again to give it another go.
First I have to get use to the new lay out of the Spark web sight it has changed since the last time I was here. .I'll look for you all in a couple of days.

Hi All, My name is Bella. I am (68 years young here. Welcome to my page.
I have COPD and have been on steroids. Inactivity has made me put on way too much weight.
(as you can see from my picture)
I am borderline diabetic and my cholesterol is also borderline .Boy do I need help!!! LOL
I love to eat, it was never a problem before because I burned off the calories. I was a manager for a food service at a college and was contently on the go. I had to retire when I got COPD and it's been down hill since then. So I'm here to learn all I can and inch my way back to health. Or at least get better better than I am now.

My Goals:
Doc say's if I can't get the weight down and lower my blood sugars and cholesterol counts ,she will have to put me on medication. . I am really going to try to avoid this by making better choices and do my best to do some exercising , even if it's just two or three minuets at a time.

My Program:
I think the Food Tracker and the sitting videos are really going to help me. I already lost 3 pounds in the few days I have been using them.

    Did really good with my steps last Thursday and Friday. (not so good on the weekend) Gonna kick it into high gear today, I'd like to get in 10,000 steps every day this week, and I'm challenging you to keep up with me. emoticon
