A New Me

Hello, I am Nallah and I am new to the program. I am 30 something and trying to train myself to eating at least 3 meals a day because that is my biggest issue. my first meal is not until 3pm becuase I am not hungry. the meal that I do eat although not heavy sometimes is not right because it will consists of junk food. I am learning to bring my lunch to work with me not only because it will help me save money but wll allow me eat since I am a vegetarian it is hard to find places to eat around ...

I have recenlty started going to the gym and taking classes 4 times a week and will begin drinking more water and bringing my lunch to work.

Hi NALLAH, welcome to the Atlanta team. What part of NY are you from? I'm from Westchester County. That's considered upstate to some New Yorkers, but only a hop skip and a jump. We moved to GA all the way back in 1988. Glad to have you on the team. GTF

I read your page and I have a suggestion that might help. It is the same about us losing weight. Try eating small about 4 to 5 times a day. Like for instance some cheese crakers or slice apples, small salad. Eating small meals throughout the day is good for you. Spark People came out with an article about it. I will have to go find it and share it with you.
