It all starts with you.

I'm Jane and I have two kids and have never lost the weight I gained since ....hmm too long to remember. I'm 5'5" and I used to be 128 lbs years ago. I'm tired of being fat in pictures. I used to enjoy dressing up to go out and having fun with friends. I enjoyed going out with my husband but over the years, I realized I feel embarrassed to dress up for parties. My husband sometimes has weddings of office friends and parties at their office. I didn't want to attend these parties anymore ...
I'm Jane and I have two kids and have never lost the weight I gained since ....hmm too long to remember. I'm 5'5" and I used to be 128 lbs years ago. I'm tired of being fat in pictures. I used to enjoy dressing up to go out and having fun with friends. I enjoyed going out with my husband but over the years, I realized I feel embarrassed to dress up for parties. My husband sometimes has weddings of office friends and parties at their office. I didn't want to attend these parties anymore because it was getting hard to hide my flabs. Sometimes, I ask my kids, does this look good? And they shake their heads. Hmmm....I realized this year that I don't want to be fat and unhealthy. I started to be part of Spark People in December but started being serious about it only by May. I am super motivated right now. I hope I can keep it up. Last year, I ballooned to 182 and I realized it was very unhealthy. I have tried drinking shakes and exercising on and off. I know that consistency is the key to keeping the weight off.

I've lost a lot of weight already but still a continuing journey. I still need to lose some to look good in clothes but I want to influence my family to have a healthier lifestyle.

I began with walking as my workouts and progressed to Turbo Fire and Chalean Extreme. I needed a harder workout since I had issues with my wrist. That's when I found Insanity. But without the first workouts I used, I won't be able to use Insanity to build my endurance.

Since I started, I have already lost 23 pounds. I feel leaner. I have gone two sizes down but I still have lots to lose. I am glad that from zero exercise, now my husband has exercised several times this year and my daughter has begun too. It's a good start.
