Hi I'm Nae, I am currently 20 years old. I'm in my first year of college.I'm majoring in American Sign Language.College life has its pretty perks such as cheap and delicious fried foods all under $5.00 and the portions are very generous. I'm trying to loose the 15lbs+ I gained from the 1st two semesters(8 months) before the summer season begins.I'm 4foot9inches! To most people reading this "I'm 127lbs" doesn't sound bad at all and I sound crazy right? it's most peoples goal weight but for a small person like me 127 is like 160+ to a person of average height.My wight fluctuates year around between 120 and 127, my goal is 106. I'd like to learn new eating habits and say "no" to cheap unhealthy food.I'm the dollar menus "Bitch" to put it bluntly lol. Food has always been a major part of my life and it's always been the bad foods. Food can still be a part of my life but from now on I would like it to be foods beneficial to my life. Luckily I am not much of a picky eater(that's how I got this way lol) I've already discovered new and healthy foods that I love in place of my huge bag of greasy BBQ chips.I'm ashamed to admit one of my favorite snacks was a BBQ and Miraclewhip sandwich. On 02/12/10 I bought my 1st treadmill and started running almost as soon as I put the dammed thing together. I try to fit in as much running as my homework assignments will let me. I have about 4 days out of the week that I can spend working out. I try to alternate the amount of calories I burn, anywhere between 500-800 calories a day.My apatite is my HUGEST enemy, I'm not exaggerating when I say this but I can eat like a man, buffet status on a regular believe it or not . I'm a craver too. My mood is strongly effected if my cravings are not satisfied, that is why I've always failed my diets. Food always been my happy drug lol people know me by "the girl that's always hungry."I think I posted "I'm Hungry" about a bagillion times as my Facebook status.Ok, I think said enough that's basically my situation, I'm just looking for support. A high school teacher of mine referred me to this site and of course I'm looking for all the help and support I can get to help reach my goal.

Hey Nae,

I haven't been on much if you couldn't tell, haha. I had lost 5 pounds, but gained it back a little too quickly. Back to square one, lol. I think I'm destined to be 120.

What happened is that I went out of town for 3 weeks in June, visiting friends and what not and they treat my like a vacuum. D:
But I don't like being rude or disrespectful and I know saying no to food isn't bad or anything, that's just not the mentality I was raised with. I ate everything XD

But I won't be seeing them until August and I'll be living with them all, so I think it would be a really great time to get in shape while I can and learn to say no to 2nd and 3rd helpings lol.

I'm thinking of using livejournal instead of sparkpeople to record my progress and whatnot. Do you have one?

I can link you to my lj if you want. I'll still use sp just not as often. If you comment, haha, promise the delay won't be as terrible.

How are you by the way? You're nearing the finish line, proud of you!

Thanks hon for stopping by my page. I'm hanging in there. I'm 9lbs from my goal so the weight is coming off SLOWLY to say the least, lol. But I'm appreciating the toning and losing inches that come with weight loss emoticon

How are things going on your end?

Remember one day at a time...it is a liefstyle change so we have our entire lives to perfect it emoticon
