Live Love Laugh Lindgren Style

I am a wife and mother of two. I am an emotional eater and although I am a runner, my weight fluctuates dramatically which affects my self confidence. I joined Sparkpeople to get help and encouragement with maintaining healthy eating habits and hopefully lose these 10 lbs for the last time! My weight hasn't matched what is on my driver's license for the past 4 years!!

{UPDATE AS OF MARCH 22, 2010}
As I have been nearing my goal weight of 120, I have decided to evaluate if that is the right number for me. After some careful consideration, I am making a slight revision to my goal and setting the bar at 115. I still feel soft and squishy at 122 and with my lack of height (5'1", thank you very much), I know that 115 is reasonable and attainable. Here's to new goals!

My Goals:
I want to make a lifestyle change committed to healthy eating & exercise. I want to lose 10 lbs and maintain this weight. No more yo-yo weight fluctuations.

My Program:
I have started carefully weighing and measuring my foods and tracking what I eat on a daily basis. I am working to select mostly natural, unprocessed foods.

I am running 3 times a week following a training schedule for the Half Marathon, which is on May 22nd. I am also taking a body blast class two mornings a week and doing strength training for 30 minutes twice a week.

125 lbs: pedicure (2/13/10)
122 lbs: facial (3/11/10)
120 lbs: massage (4/18/10)
118 lbs: weekend at a B&B with my hubby
115 lbs: New skinny jeans!! I haven't been this weight since 1997! Hoot-hoot!!

Thank you for your comment on my blog! A BIG thank you for understanding that while most people's goal is 130...it is my starting point. I am still in my little size 4's but I am just jamming myself into them! I really should be up a pants size. I guess I am in denial about that too.
