Getting started & doing well ! Thanks Sparks

I would like to think that you can't lose weight for anyone else , but yourself.
There are many reason why we gain weight. To be brutally honest I figure i'm guilty of falling into all of these bad habits.
There's self-sabotaging my day. Over-eating, boredom, an emotional eating. I have to stand strong & make some positive choice. Chose exercise instead of eating when I'm not hungry. It seems like each pound I lose I get more movivation for a better tomorrow.

My plan is to lose the 10 lbs a year I gained since retiring. Oh, that would be 50 !

I'm retired and love to bake, cook,walk with my black lab, feeding my birds & dig around in flower gardens.I just love to be outside winter or summer.We live by a wonderfully quiet lake in northern MN.

Thanks for your kind comments on my blog. Sorry I haven't replied earlier but the computer has been playing up, I'm untechnical so can't figure out why. I am thoroughly enjoying reading Our lady of weight loss. I'm pretty sure that throughout this book are many messages for me. Take care and will write more once I feel I can trust this machine. xx

Wow did you ever need to lose weight? Your photos certainly don't say that. I have a long long way to go but doing that at a snails pace. I agree with you about boredom and loneliness equalling emotional eating. Am really aware of that now but as I have a lot of work (unpaid) to do & have a routine to follow now like exercising 3 times a week things are looking up now. Have a good week.
