The Fight.
I can't believe that April is coming to an end. There are so many things in life that keep us from achieveing our goals. But really it is not the things we sometimes get in our own way of achieveing or goals or dreams. I'm constantly checking for things that may hinder me. Most times I find that I am not putting in the work to acheive the goal or I decide it is not worth the effort. I thought by now I would have lost tons of weight but that's not the case. I have lost some just not what I thought I would have by now. I have come to realize that I get in my way of reaching my goals than anyone else. So has of today I am deciding to FIGHT until I reach my goals. I think I have a few more rounds!!!!



Is it important to loose weight or be healthy? This is a question I'm constantly try to answer or determine a correct answer. At this point I have decided that it is more important for me to be healthy than to stress about loosing pounds. With a healthy life style the pounds have no other choice than to leave me with a lean body. During the time I have been a member of SparkPeople I have gained loads of information to help me to become healthier.

My Goals:
To make better food choices. I'm a junk a holic. i love everything that I don't need. I like the healthy stuff too but if I can get this under control I think I will be well on my way to further achieving my goals.


My Program:
I have found a new love for exercising. I'm now working out 3 times a week. It just seems natural and if I don't my body let's me know.



Personal Information:
I live in Memphis, TN. I don't have any children but plenty of neices and nephews. I love to shop especially for shoes and purses. I am currently seeking a Master's degree in education.


Other Information:
I love to read in the past 3 months I'm sure I have read more than 10 books. In the very near future I would like to start a reading program and write children's books.
