love to dance

well.... I am over a half century old, drive a big old yellow bus every day and spend what spare time I have dancing, doing yoga, lifting weights plus gardening and keeping my other half of 30 years happy. It is hard to balance everything and much of the time taking care of myself takes a back seat.

My Goals:
my goal is to improve my stamina, tighten up the old muscles and drop a few pounds. Instead of looking at this as a diet I am reminding myself this is a life style change and I have to remind myself of this quite frequently

My Program:
working out with weights and doing yoga 3 times a week and 4 days of heart pumping dance.
Eating smaller portions and healthier is a must,but trying to make everything from scratch is a challenge. My system just does not take kindly to convienence foods.





















Personal Information:
this old gal is originally from the east coast transplanted to the west cast many eons ago. I work hard year round, driving in the winter and working for a moving company in the summers.. and just love it. I discovered dancing 8 years ago when my daughter showed some interest. I got hooked and am still at it. Then this summer my parents introduced me to line dancing! So that has also been added to my agenda. I have a large veggie garden every summer and try to plant a few things that I have never tried before. Sure keeps things interesting.

Other Information:
I like good mystery books and old movies. But my biggest passion is dancing. It is great exercise and is what got me going on living a healthier life style and motivated to try Yoga, and stIrength training.
