Its a type of printing process, where an image is created on a sheet of copper, using corrosive salts, grounds, burnishing, sanding and scraping. After the image has been refined, its inked and wiped, pulled thru a 1.5 ton hand press with a dampened sheet of paper and felt blankets. During this final process the ink is transferred to the paper.

Its extremely time consuming and challenging as the process is full of surprises that you don't always have the ability to anticipate or control. Many of these surprises are not um... desirable. LOL

Rather like thyroid disease.

Between the Hashi's and Aquatints I should be a Zen Master by now.
Unfortunately, I am not.

Its nice to have a goal... although I can't quite decide if the goal has me.
Namaste

Hi there, I'm stopping by to say I hope your week is going great! We are getting close to the weekend, a time that is hard for some of us to stick to our good eating and exercise plans. Now is the time to jot down your weekend strategy and review it each day to help you stay on track.

Keep sparking and emoticon

Mzz you have been a busy lady!

I am glad to hear it has been nice enough to get out and be outdoors even thought it is doing "yard work." Spring has just hit here and we can finally be outside more consistently and I love it!

I am sorry to hear about your computer, that is no fun. I feel your pain though as my laptop is starting to the bite the farm.

Well, as for me, I pretty much gave up on everything for a while, that is why I quit getting on spark. I just continued to work out and eat the way I was because I was sick of trying to fix myself. I also quit getting on the scale because it was just depressing. However with summer rolling around I am starting to really get uncomfortable in my own skin.

My doctor refuses to give up and I finally just had to tell her that I was throwing up my white flag. She let it be for a while but wanted to test my RT3 a few weeks ago so I agreed since I was due for a thyroid test anyway. Looks like my Rt3 is high and my ratio is too low..I am not quite sure how that plays into my weightloss or where to go from here, but I am ready to just be done. Tired of being abnormal :(

I went to Maui with a group of friends in february which was great, but we all went on a weight loss kick in about september..it was really depressing to watch them all barely change their eating habits, throw in one extra day at the gym compared to normal and have the weight fall off..whereas I was already going 6 days a week, eating well and nothing was happening.

The trip was fun though, so I guess that's all that matters. :)

Thanks for visiting my Page and the comment about my Sierra. I think Abys look like cougars, too! That's where he got his name. I sure miss him.

Thanks for the goodie! I can relate to the gardening issue...I work for hours to do what takes my husband 15 minutes. AARRGGHH!

I'm glad you are getting out there though, gardening is good for the soul!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
