Gotta get back on track

I've been on Sparkpeople for years, off and on and now I'm back again. My current living situation does nothing to promote me to be healthy. I have a very busy lifestyle that is only going to get busier.

I stay with family and it's often times much easy just to grab something on the go than to go home and fit for space or to clean up behind others or the worst, finding out that your food is missing.

I can no longer let these things be an excuse for me. At 241, I am the ...

I can no longer let these things be an excuse for me. At 241, I am the largest I've ever been. And although I've always had problems with my knees, it has been even worse now in addition to lower back problems. I have depression and carrying all this extra weight doesn't help either.

I'm moving to Texas by November first. My goal is to have at least lost and maintained to loss of 40 pounds. I am super nervous and thinking about all the stuff I need to give up and things I need to do to become healthier is a littler overwhelming, I'm going to try and take it day by day though.

My Goals:
Drink half my weight (in ounces) of water everyday.

Do some type of cardio for at least 30 minutes.

Do my Yogalates (yoga & Pilates in one) 3 times a week.

Create a menu one week at a time and stick to it. Minimize indulging in empty calories.

Have at least one vegetarian day a week.

Take 10,000 steps a day

Prepare, prepare, prepare. Try to setup snacks and meal as much in advance as possible to eliminate grab and go's while out

My Program:
No program. Not to say that you can't do Nutrisystem or weight watchers for ever, but I want to incorporate things into my life that I know I can maintain.

Hey Simone! I am all for buddying up and working out. I'm definitely interested. Send me your number and lets see if we can come up with some sort of workout regime together. Maybe we can do it on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
