While I don't think I have ever seen worse than this woman's cart regarding junk food, it really did look like she was stocking up for a big party, once I found out that this was the way she she shopped for the month, I was more sad than anything. What I was upset about was that the Assistance program she was on didn't require better foods and allowed what can only be classified as junk food. I wasn't judging her. In fact I found her to be a delightful person to talk to. I know lots of people eat poorly on a regular basis. I used to too.

Thanks for telling me where you think I was off base. I appreciate it. I think if you had seen what I saw, you too would have been surprised that a nutritional assistance program wouldn't require more nutrition.
