Welcome to Mystyk27's Homepage

Hello. I am trying to lose a considerable amount of weight. It will be challenging but definitely worth the effort. It's also my hope that this weight loss and new eating habits will spark a lifestyle change.

Hello. I am trying to lose a considerable amount of weight. It will be challenging but definitely worth the effort. It's also my hope that this weight loss and new eating habits will spark a lifestyle change.

I've started and stopped many times. This time I think will be different. Of course we've all heard - and probably said - that same line at some point in our lives about something. I think this time is different because of SparkPeople. This site gives you the tools - rewards, activities, nutrition/fitness tracking, online support and the list goes on and on - to make it happen. The more I use the site the more I find my new healthy lifestyle choices slipping into every practice...And you know what they say - if you do it for 21 days it becomes a habit.

A part of me would love to click my heels and have the weight melt away. But then I'd lose the lesson that can only be gained by going through the process. The journey will be many things - rewarding, joyous, happy and oftentimes disappointing - but most importantly it will be worth it. I already feel an upgrade in my confidence.

So, here's to starting a new life with healthy lifestyle choices. Come along with me for the journey - if you dare!

My Program:
I have taken the first step in a healthy lifestyle - being serious about what I eat. I used to just eat whatever I liked, whenever I wanted to eat. But now I give serious thought to what I put into my mouth beforehand.

I go to the gym 3x a week -
Cardio - 45 minutes
Weights - 30 minutes

Yoga class-once a week

Other Information:
I enjoy watching movies and tv...am totally addicted to celebrity gossip.....and I have a great sense of humor - that often comes out at odd times. I have a small group of close friends but I am very friendly and would consider myself an outgoing people-person.
