Idk, I would type something here, that totaly explains why i'm here, and what I want, but eh, I don't feel like it... so I'll give the quick version. Mom=diabetic dad=heart problems Me=heart problems from birth, plus genetic factors = prolly not gonna live too long if I don't get healthy and drop the weight. Also me + creepy = happy so yeah.... Mom=diabetic dad=heart problems Me=heart problems from birth, plus genetic factors = prolly not gonna live too long if I don't get healthy and drop the weight. Also me + creepy = happy so yeah.... MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA (a few days later) sheesh. Ok I will not be soooo lazy. Here is more info... I started this journey of weight loss back in may of 2008. I was getting over the loss of my father wich had sent me into a depression, and caused my weight to skyrocket to 320lbs. I felt aweful, I looked terrible, and I was scared of ending up like my super diabetic mother who just lost 3 toes. So I joined weight watchers, wich taught me some great fundamentals, but the constantly convertine everything to "points" gets teidious. And I fell off the wagon after losing 60lbs. I spent about 6 months off, and not watching has slowly let the scale creep back up. And when I got my wii fit for Christmas I found out that yes, it wasn't my clothes shrinking, the scale was broke, and I had gained back 25lbs. I was devistated, but I tried to get back in the saddle. Sadly the part that I hated about weight watchers (and prolly my own lack of effort) kept the scale from going down. Then on top of everything I hurt my back, not from anything other than trying to lug all the extra weight around and my general lack of any shape whatsoever. So while lying in bed rhuing the world I remembered that my best friend cobaltspider was using spark people, and found 1 they have an iPhone app so I can track on the go (yay!) and 2 tracking fat and calories is much easier than converting your cals and fats to points then tracking them. So here I am. Tracking and eating, and staying satisfied. Plus, I can share my love of Japanese pretty packed and healthy bento's. Let's see how it goes :) Gotta love fresh starts! Btw, anything I mention in my blog that you want the recipe for feel free to ask, if I get enough requests I'll just start listing them in my blog.
