Finally Working It Like I Mean It
I love Sparkpeople! I've learned so much here about nutrition. But mostly, I've learnedthat I must get up when I fall down. No matter how many times I fall down . . . and . . . be consistent about getting up . . . and . . . probably most importantly -- without delay. I've wasted so much time starting the journey that I never really got on down the road far enough to make any meaningful progress. Progress that would keep me on the road till I reached my goal. I finally feel like I'm on ...

I finally feel like I'm on the road. My mind is right. I'm both amazed and ashamed that it took so long, but c'es la vie. I've accepted that there will be detours and that I'm not going to be riding in the fast lane. That's ok, I'll still get there and I'm so happy about it.
