Let's give this another go....

My name is Jamie but a lot of people call me Jay. I am an RN in a local Emergency room. I had the gastric bypass surgery about 5 years ago. I weighed 362lbs. Over the following 2 years I was able to get down to about 180. Than I met my ex (and first boyfriend!) and I ballooned back up to 280lbs. I felt better after my surgery but I still felt awful about myself- weight wise. I always knew that I shouldn't. I have great friends and a great family. I own a house and have a reliable vehicle. I have 3 degrees under my belt and I LOVE my job. I am still the same awesome person I always was. But the underlying depression about my weight is always lurking. The bypass surgery works, but now I can eat whatever I want because my stomch stretched back out. I want to loose weight. I am sick of this battle because it's the same battle I have been fighting since I was 12. This soilder is tired. But I got to give it another try,

"BEAUTIFUL WOMAN AWARD"
emoticon

You are the recipient of the Beautiful Woman Award!!

Once you've been given this award, you have to paste it on the page of 8 women who deserve it. If you receive more than 3, you know you're really beautiful! If you break the chain, nothing will happen, but it's always good to know someone thinks you're beautiful inside and out!

Again, Congratulations Beautiful!

Saw you hanging out in the lo-carb life... :)

I know you are on a quest for health, I noticed you said that you weren't happy in your body. While 80% of booming bodies are diet, exercise aka sweat equity plays a big role in the shape of the final product. Being stronger and sleeker helps resets the body image cycle that is so self-defeating. I'd encourage you to incorporate regular sweat equity into your life as you get back to your journey. Sometimes setting a simple goal like completing a 5K in six months is all it takes to insure you get moving. Good Luck!
