My Life Made Lite

I have been around this block so many times I own real estate on every corner. As a mom to a toddler and a graduate student I suffer from decision fatigue and constant exhaustion. I need weight loss to be simple, but for me it is about overcoming emotional eating as well as eating right. It takes a significant amount of energy to make the right decisions for my health. I am trying to embrace it instead of feel sorry for myself. I am going to make deliberate choices to shape my life and body. I ...
I am empowering myself to make the changes I want to see. I want to be mindful of my actions and relationship with food.

Exercise has always been the easy part for me. While I strive to get more movement into my day, much of this journey is about my relationship with food. I don't have a lot of time for exercise and I become sad and distracted with my lack of time to the point of paralysis. My ultimate goal, once school is over and I return to work, is to incorporate a regular workout into my day. Baby steps.
