My first run at SP my screen name was Talkschmalk. That was in 2006? Then I went away for a while and came back as Mylifemadelite. In 2010 I lost some weight and gained it back and in 2011 I made great strides at becoming a healthier person. My main goal was to get pregnant and have a healthy pregnancy. We struggled with infertility for 5 years. After losing over 40 lbs in the spring/summer of 2011 my dream came true. I got pregnant! I managed to limit my weight gain during pregnancy, but gained a lot at the end. Luckily, it was all water because shortly after birth I was only 10 lbs from my prepregnancy weight...and then I stopped breastfeeding. Bah! Here I am 7 months later and 20 lbs heavier. Just two months ago it was 35 lbs heavier. I have already made progress! I am here to finally get the rest of this weight off. I don't care if I'm ever skinny. I want to be healthy, active and to feel good in my skin. I am happy to finally have carved out the time to return to SP. Nothing has ever worked for me like SP has and I am here to make the changes permanent. :) I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody. - Bill Cosby, comedian It's not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the ones most responsive to change. - Charles Darwin

When I had free time I loved to read, craft (draw, sew, embroider, take pictures, quilt, etc...), bake, cook comfort foods, hike, watch movies, do home improvement....buuuuut, now I work full-time and parent/wife the rest. I love my life. I'm just tired all the time and working on finding balance.
