**update: had a baby sept 3, 2010. gained about 35 pounds during pregnancy, lost 16 right after the baby. now working on the rest!

i'm getting over a herniated disc, so what i can do is still limited. but after being bed-ridden with this injury for about 4 months and gaining like 20 pounds (added to the weight i already needed to lose) i'm never going back to where i was! i appreciate life so much more now since being hurt, and i want to get healthy!

update june 22 2009: well i finally bit the bullet and got on the damn scale, and am now very discouraged... i need to lose 75 more pounds! i've already lost about 25 pounds, but after the weight i gained while i was hurt, that just puts me back at square one. but i won't give up!

My Goals:
next goal is to get into my "regular size" clothes and throw out my plus size.
ultimate goal is to be around 150, my thinnest was 137 and i looked great (though i didn't know it at the time)

My Program:
working out on the treadclimber 6 days a week for at least 30 minutes a day and gradually increasing length/speed/distance (i started at 5 minutes and am now up to 45 minutes)

**update:starting over since baby. up to about 35 minutes and a mile

Personal Information:
i got a herniated disc may 3, 2008 and am in the slow recovery process. getting better everyday.

LOL I get up firstttttttt thing in the morning!!! before Keith even heads off to work! im usually there between 6:30/7 am and then depending on the time i get... i try to at least get in 20-30 mins. usually 20 mins cardio of some sort and then on the other days the strength training some days i can pull off being gone an hr =) its like its my me time hahahaha. But now hubby is having to be at work at 730 in stead of 8 so this morning it was only strength which i have not don this week yet but i think i have strep so i didnt feel like cardio :( maybe i can pull off some zumba or something a lil later when the kids nap again. So, how does it feel being a mother of a toddler???? Thats not sinking in yet cause the boys are just about to turn one in wow 13 days now!
thats freaking me out! haha. I think what really made me realize i needed to find the time is that when i weighed in with them for delivery i was up to 301....... 99 lbs gained during that pregnancy. 10 days later i was down 50 lbs.. but over the last 10 months i gained a lil over 10 of that back. BOO! ANd now that we have kids.... its like things have a new perspective. even though its hard as heck to find time for our selves, i finally realize we will 1 go crazy if we dont and 2........ might not be around as long as we would like. And I am just now realizing i am writting a book on your page =) haha. sorry for that!

exercise wise i mainly stick to cardio, been doing tread mill and trying to add in elliptical and the stat. bike been trying to work on mondays wed friday being the set days for muscle groups with weights but i did not accomplish that today at all LOL last night i worked on the car with my hubby and my arms already hurt too much LOL. put i try to stick to arms one day legs the next and core one day...............

good luck with the treadclimber. just take it easy. love you girl, and keep up the good work. I did real good on my diet today. You know it really does help to keep track of your food. YOu were right! emoticon
