Yes, I got onto Psoriasis Healing Warriors, thanks. I haven't had time lately to check all the links - but should be able to do that this week. Since psoriasis is such a complex issue, all avenues should be explored.

Did you get added to Psoriasis Healing Warriors? It's group is all about natural healing, especially Matt Ludlow's method. There is also a Healing Warrior's Kitchen all about recipes. There is another group I belong to. I think it is just "Psoriasis". You have to ask to join that one, too. It's focus is on medication and more traditional therapies. Best wishes!

I did go to the NPF workshop today. Very interesting, but I didn't hear anything about research related to diet. The speaker was very pro- biologicals. I'd rather not go that way unless I have to.

Thanx for the sparkgoodie!! I am now off the sugar & cholesterol meds! & once I lose the rest of the weight & maintain it he will take me off the thyroid med!! :) I look forward to getting to know you better as I follow your journey to a healthier lifestyle. I have given up almost all sugar and artificial sweetener as well as alcohol, red meat, egg yolks, dairy, nightshade veggies: tomatoes, potatoes, eggplant, peppers, paprika; condiments and spicy foods; citrus fruits and strawberries; junk food and chocolate. I've reduced my caffeine to only decaffeinated drinks and I'm working toward giving up gluten. I'm debating on egg whites. Some say they may be a problem, but I sure like having that source of protein. I have the book Healing Psoriasis by Pagano and haven't quite decided if I want to try the detox portion. I am drinking the slippery elm bark powder, using lecithin, and several other supplements. Don't know if it will work, but I figure it's worth a try.
