Hello! Thanks for the encouragement about my swimming!
I really appreciate your kind words.....they help a lot! I bet SD was brutally cold!!!! I lived in VT for 18 years (the very Northeastern part of VT..10 mins from the Canadian Border) Now that was cold ...wind chills 20 below 0 many nights in the winter....You get the picture.
Have a great day tomorrow.............February 1st 20 days ago
Yes, Am trying to stay warm this morning...It's 26 out at7am.....but sunny
Last night I printed out the forms to rejoin the YMCA for the water aerobics class...hope I can stay motivated to do this in the winter time:) Sure is cold when you get out of that nice warm pool and have to go out to your car!
Hi....Yes, I bet 5am comes early! I live in the central time zone.
The resistance bands sound like a great idea!! I will pick some up and look up some exercises that will be appropriate for me to do.
I had thought about getting back into the pool at the YMCA...I was in a low impact aerobics class done in 4 ft depth water, prior to my surgery. Many of the exercises put strain on my back because they involved twisting and turning and that is definitely off limits for me esp now after the spinal fusion.I'll need to discuss with my neurosurgeon and get his input. Have a great Wednesday and we'll "talk" again soon... 27 days ago
