Just trying to lose weight and get fit like everyone else.

I started as high as 195 lbs. Have lost over 45 lbs to get to 150 lbs or so. Would like to get to 138 lbs and hold around there. Have moved from overweight to normal weight. Qualified for life insurance at age 45. Feel much better and look much better now that I have lost 45 lbs.

My Goals:
Eventual goal to get to 138 lbs - halfway in the "normal" range established by CDC.

My Program:
I run mainly for my exercise it is great for burning calories but it is challenging when the humidity is 98% or so.
Working toward my first marathon which will be the Chevron Houston Marathon in January if I get accepted.

Thanks so much for your encouraging words about my trail marathon blog. And, you are right, I won't soon forget this race. It shook me up that I got surprised by the difficulty of this off road race, but at least I finished.
