Music Mom's weight loss

I am a stay-at-home mom of 2 boys (ages 11 and 8). I have always had problems with my weight but I feel like this time is different. I've been a part of Spark People since December 2007, and this is the longest that I have stuck with any type of weight loss program. The funny thing is that I don't feel like that's what this is. This is a lifestyle change that has really changed the way I do things.

On September 3, 2012 I reached my goal weight of 144 pounds! So excited, and ...

On September 3, 2012 I reached my goal weight of 144 pounds! So excited, and a little bit scared, to be switching over to maintenance, but I know that I can do it!!

As of November 18, 2012 the scale has slowly crept back up so I am moving back into weight loss mode. This is tough!

July 1, 2013 - I'm considering myself back in maintenance mode. As long as I stay under 150, I'll be happy!

June 9, 2014 - Back into weight loss mode. The scale has moved back up since my surgery back in Oct. 2013 and just won't budge. Frustrated, but I know that I will succeed!

They always put the headliners last.... they are SO worth it though!!! Love their new song "Nothing is Impossible" that they performed at WOFaith before the release!

Hope you're Grandma is doing well and has made it through surgeries, etc okay. That's tough when they're getting up there in age but I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts.

Thanks for your comment on my blog. First challenge: to find some no-sugar birthday solutions that are tasty and feel festive to the whole family, but don't encourage sugar binges.
