All that I'm after is a life full of laughter

I'm 24 from Kansas City MO. Living in Columbia MO.

After two years of eating out for every meal, not caring how much I ate I was up to 170 pounds. I was unhappy with myself. I hated looking in the mirror. I hated seeing pictures of myself. And I hated how everything looked on me.

When getting fitted for bridesmaid dress and being told I would fit best into a size 20, I knew it was time to change. (Later I figured out the girl didn't know what she was doing and would have fit into a smaller size)

I joined sparkpeople and really looked at it as an experiment. I was going to try it for a week, see how I felt and go from there.

That was January. Now in March I'm 150 pounds. I haven't reached my goal weight, but at least I'm on the right path. I have the confidence and the tools to help push and guide me.

I still have a ways to go. But I'm so much happier then before.

Nawww, look at your gorgeous little boxer pup. Can't wait to get mine at the end of the year. They recommend boxers get 2 hours of exercise a day - I figure that's pretty good motivation to get exercising!

Just stopped by to say "HI", as I saw your page on the new members list. Welcome to SPARK! You've got a real good chance of meeting your goals if you come back to your page every day and follow the plan, but you knew it was always up to you, didn't you? Now you know you're not alone.

Use those buttons at the top of the page well. My favorite is the "My Tools" drop down item "Sparkpoints" that I use every day to remind myself of every tool that I can use to get to my goal faster.

This place is like a cocktail party. If you don't make eye-contact (by leaving a board post or e-mail or comment) you will surely miss out on meeting new friends.
