You are probably wondering what munter mormor means. It is Swedish for jolly grandmother. I enjoy finding humor in most situations. Life is too short for it not to be fun.

God & family are the most important aspects of my life. After that comes my Swedish heritage, genealogy, traveling, painting, photography, reading, knitting & digital scrapbooking. I'm a big (no pun intended) Disney World fan. I also enjoy the beauty of nature and hiking if I'm able.

EXCITED? Can you say EXCITED??? We're so excited, I can't believe we just went in November! We're like two little kids who have never been there before! There's just something magical about taking someone who's never been there. We can't wait to make this a trip my mom will never forget.

I keep thinking, "Oh I must lose this weight before the trip", but as much as I exercise, it's just really being stubborn! If we get together, I could give you some of my exercise and you could give me some of your eating-right and between the two of us, the pounds should just melt away. OK?

Speaking of melting, we've gotten a few snows of a couple inches. Nothing by comparison to what you've gotten, but it's still a pain! Thankfully it's supposed to be unseasonably warm this weekend, hitting 60 on Sunday!! I'll take it!

Just one more note on the trip. We've made reservations for O'Hana's in the Polynesian, Narcoosee's in the Grand Floridian, the Crystal Palace, the Prime Time 50's Cafe, the Biergarten in Germany and the Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club. Do they make temporary tummy shrinkers, cause I'm sure gonna need one!? You've seen me indulge. I just get to Disney and go *C*R*A*Z*Y!

I hope you and Jim are planning something fun for when the snow melts! Stay warm!

well, come on up with me. I am firmly super-glued up here on this wagon. I'm stretching out MY hand to pull you up! Better than a swift kick in the butt many times!

Hi Sandy. Thanks for the chocolate. Gee, you think I need cheering up? Must be the new image of me looking askance (at myself). I fell off the wagon pretty hard in November and December and I spent some time really mad at myself. So I'm back on the wagon.

Hi. Thank you for the comment on my Sparkpage. I have lived in Rome, NY my entire life. The winters get long at times but all in all I like it here.

BIG FAT YIPPPPEEEE FOR YOU!!!
emoticon on losing some of that Christmas weight! It's so hard to take it off and so easy to put it on!!

Just checked Southwest and Airtran and you can fly nonstop from Chicago to Orlando for $81 each person one way, so that'd be around $162 each round trip, (don't know if the fees were included). We're closer, so I assume that's why we can fly cheaper. I didn't know what dates to look at, so I just looked at March 11-18. Disney is still having the Buy 4 nights Get 3 free, with tickets included for all 7 days. Kenny and I paid $106 extra to have the No Expiration Date on our tickets, because we know we won't use all those days. Guess what else we're doing? For the first time we've purchased one of the dining plans. We're doing the one where you get one sit-down meal, one counter service and a snack each day. I'm glad you introduced us to the Trail's End Buffet, 'cause we're going to take my mom there.

You can actually do this promotion until at least May or June, but if you go before March 31st, they give you a $200 gift card to use during your stay, which of course appealed to me!

I can't believe we're going back so soon either. My mom said it's on her "Bucket List" and she's 76, so I want her to be able to go while she can still get around.

It really doesn't matter that we just went, I'm just as excited!!

What are you going to do to stay warm these next few days?? We're suppose to get down to the teens, but your weather looks CRAZY COLD!!!

Whatever it is, you'll probably burn some extra calories doing it!
