Slow and steady wins the race.
This extra chin and "love handles" didn't show up over night so I cannot expect them to disappear instantly. I need to focus on this as a lifestyle change and not just a way to lose the weight.
Each time I pass the cookie aisle in the grocery store.... each drop of sweat and leg cramp I suffer, each day I drive past McDonalds without turning in .... I will remember you are all out there cheering me on.

My Goals:
There is no chance that I will ever be a model but I will be happy if I can gain better health and create a strong leaner body. And if that just happens to make me look younger, sexier or more attractive, well I will just have to learn to live with that.
My Program:
For me, it is just simple things that make a big difference. Get up and move instead of sitting in front of the TV. Drink more water, be more conscious of what you put in your mouth, and of course dont buy it and bring it home so it cant tempt you.
Personal Information:
I am a canadain from Ottawa Ontario. Single mother of two teenage kids. As a whole I would say I am a happy person who loves simple things in life. Each day I find a reason to laugh.
Other Information:
Seems I have entered my " self-improvement" stage of life. It is hard to pass a bookstore window without being pulled into the How To section. I love poetry and classic rock music. My favorite colour is burgandy and I have a passion for italian food.
