Gainesville Biggest Loser (red team)
I am climbing OUT of that PIT!! Working out with a big group of YMCA people in the local Biggest Loser contest for our gym!! We have 12 weeks to lose it! I've been in MY pit long enough and I'm getting out!! I am climbing OUT of that PIT!! Working out with a big group of YMCA people in the local Biggest Loser contest for our gym!! We have 12 weeks to lose it! I've been in MY pit long enough and I'm getting out!! Follow my progress for 12 weeks.. and beyond! :) *************************** Phillipians 4:13--I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. *************************** Beginning Weight Start of contest: 177lbs In the 12 week biggest loser contest, I can weigh in at the Y every week on fri, sat or sun. I began on sat ended up weighing in on mon's so you will see some discrepancy with the dates, that's all it is. In the end of the contest (on a sat) it will be a short week so I think I will work at my weigh in's being on saturday before the contest ends, so I have "more time." Funny because the time doesn't change, but my perception of it does! Follow my progress as I take the challenge along with 40 other members (20 red team, 20 blue team) to see who will be "The Biggest Loser!" I'm thinking, it will be ME!! GO RED TEAM!!!! STATS: June 30/week 1: start:177lbs end:172 (5lbs) July 5/week 2: start:172lbs end: 168 (4lbs) July 14/week 3: start:168 end: 164 (4lbs) July 21/week 4: start: 164 end: 163 (1lb) July 29/week 5: start: 163 end: 160.5 (2.5lbs) Aug 4/week 6: start: 160.5 end: 158.5 (2 lbs) 18.5 lbs for the first 6 weeks!!! Can I do it for the next 6 weeks for a total loss of 37 lbs to the end of the contest? (140lbs) I KNOW I can!! 6 more weeks to hit it hard!! Here I go.... Aug 12/week7: start: 158.5 end: 158.5!!! (this keeps on) Aug 18/week 8: start: 158.5 end: 158.5! REALLY! Aug 25/week 9: start: 158.5 end: 156.5! FINALLY!! Sept. 1/week 10: start: 156.5 end: ? Sept. 22...END weight (for contest) 155lbs! I lost a total of 22lbs in 12 weeks and ended up in 4th place!! I am proud of my accomplishments and I am (at least in my little world LOL!!) the BIGGEST LOSER!! NOW begins my continuation of my journey of a stronger, fitter me and more weight loss. I still have 20lbs to go!!

My Goals:
My goal is to lose 35+ lbs in 12 weeks in the Biggest Loser contest at my local YMCA. I want to have energy again! I want to WIN the contest and more importantly, I want to regain my strength and stamina!! THEN I will refocus!
My Program:
I am working out 6 days a week, basically following the body for life method. Cardio / Weights Upper/ Cardo / Weights Lower /. Rest on the 7th day. Diet is as clean as possible which means fresh foods, fat free or low fat meats (like skinless boneless chx breast), lots of veggies and fruits and only whole grain carbs. I get a cheat day a week if I want to.. "express myself."
Personal Information:
I am the proud Mom of 3 great daughters under the age of 9. I have twins and they all keep me busy! My hubby and I are excited to see me motivated and I cant wait to see the results! I am a Christian and my hope is in Jesus! I believe my faith is my strength and with it, I can accomplish anything! I love to bargain shop, read and play online!
Other Information:
"If you don't like where you are, GO somewhere else." I AM going somewhere else! I am going to a body "place" I can be proud of!!! A fit self that has energy and a healthier self that eats better and feels better!
