In addition to losing weight, I would like to be more healthy and active. I want to be in great shape if and when I ever get grandbabie to play with.
I am currently following the 17 Diet by Dr. Mike Moreno. Hubby and I are doing this together which as been great. We spend more time in the kitchen together preparing our meals than in our seperate rooms watching tv!!
Hi Gabby, I have not posted because I am trying hard not to get discouraged - the scale has not moved in 16 days. I had that big drop of 15lbs in 10 days and nothing since. I am in perimenopause and have hypothyroidism that is doing ridiculous things to my body. My doc said its going to be really hard to lose weight from this point on. I know I am eating perfectly and feel incredible and am happy that the scale isnt going up, like its been doing for 2 years.
I keep stepping back and looking at the big picture - rounded out 15 pounds in 4 weeks is a GREAT LOSS!!!
Thanks for stopping in to check, I just dont want to bring my frustration to the board.
On a good note, hubby pants fell down last night while he was chopping vegtables!!! Time to invest in a few belts!!!
Hi MOMOFJTEAM, thanks for the info on Culturelle. I will definately check those out. Are you still "eating" your probiotics or have you replaced the 2 servings with these pills? or Are you taking the pills in addition to the 2 servings?
The prunes and everything else I have tried has not worked. Thanks again.
I saw your comments on the 17DD forum about the prunes. If those aren't working for you - you may want to try the pill form of the probiotics. Both myself and a friend tried the brand "Culturelle" which is in the 10 billion category and it worked like a charm. I believe there is a section in the book about this... and it does work. They are however a bit pricey.
