my first goal is to get fit enough so i can play with my children without getting tired out easily
i try to work out at least an hour a day , but sometimes i just go out for a long walk ,, every calorie counts !!

I'm doing quite well. I'm almost 13 weeks. Doc has me eating super healthy and working out. hard not to give into some of the cravings, but she doesn't want me to gain any more than 15 lbs while Im pregnant. Its worth it though :) glad to hear you are doing well!

Good evening, Emma! Thanks so much for your great pat on the back re my fitness progress - I really appreciate it! How's life going on the other side of the pond, and how was Bradley's birthday? Let me know if you get a chance :) I was thinking of him! Did Evelyn celebrate with her big brother? They're so adorable at their ages!
We got the BRIEFEST, most unseasonable little break from spring here for a few days, but the bitter cold seems to be edging its way back in (ugh...) I made a run to the stores for my veggies and fruit today, along with the usual items, just in case the freezes due to hit our roadways have everyone forced to face the icy pavement once again - something I can't do!
Congratulations, once again, in the excellent progress you've made so far here! I see you've found yourself some good teams to join, too - good going! Good evening, dear Emma! I thought I'd take a few minutes out of making dinner for my husband - he eats different food than I do - to say hello! What a pretty name you have, so much more interesting than mine - Susan. They say 1951 was the "bumper crop" year for girls named Susan, and my mother must've jumped on that bandwagon :) Throughout school, in any given class, my teacher had to discern which Susan was...which Susan!
How's it going so far? I was so happy to see that you were enjoying exercise. That's one very healthy, fruitful habit we can cultivate. I do some sit-ups plus other core exercises, plus upper-body exercises, but I've got a bad hip so it's become more painful to walk for extended periods.
How many children do you and that sweet husband of yours have, and how old are they? We've been married for 37 - !!! - years now, but our "children" have been limited to the canine variety - two of them, one after the other, and both Pembroke Welsh Corgis! The first had the "fawn" colorings of the Queen's Corgis, and the second was a cuddly little tricolor - black, tan, and white! I may be partial, but I don't think there's a more loyal, loving dog than a little Corgi :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! I'm confident that you can do this, too. You're a lovely girl, and you'll only keep getting lovelier as you progress! But remember - one day, one meal at a time...and in the beginning, it can sometimes be a struggle to divert yourself from wanting to eat when you shouldn't, but keep making the effort.
Would you believe I'm now a 62-year-old lady who loves veggies more than any other food? So you see, it can happen at ANY age - even mine!
