Winter 5% Challenge

Activity plan:
Get in cardio 3 days per week.
Do strength training 2 days per week.
Try a new exercise video on Youtube weekly
Get in 10,000 steps daily

Fall 5% Nutrition Plan:
I am committed to tracking my food intake using the Spark Nutrition Tracker. (This is difficult for me!)
I am going to reduce my carbohydrate and sodium intake and increase my protein.
In addition, I will get in at least 3 freggies a day.
I will measure my foods and drink at least 8 glasses of water per day.
On my team page I will daily record my exercise and Living the Good Life points, and I will weigh and record my weight weekly. I will check with my team at least three times per week. I will visit team members' pages and blogs as much as I can.

I am looking forward to being physically, mentally and spiritually stronger. Sparkpeople has the tools to help me succeed. Now, it is up to me to put the knowledge to use.
Both of my twins have graduated college.
I am a retired school teacher and look forward to marking a few things off my bucket list.
I enjoy cooking and like to make soup. I eat soup just about everyday for lunch.
I like all types of fresh food and don't follow a special diet. I eat whatever I want. I am logging my food and exercising and believe that moderation is the key to success.
I grew up in the country, and love all things outdoors. I have lots of time to travel, and especially love the outdoors.

    You should have received an email to join the Spring challenge (If you did not get this email let Carol know and she will take care of you), click on the link to take you to the page and hit the join button. Once you have done that go down to "pick your Spring team forum" and look for the Champions page and reply with a big ole' yes you would like to join. Any other questions let me know.
