My Goals:
Under 20% body fat.

27 minute 5k.

Complete a 5/25/50 day (5 mile run, 25 mile skate, 50 mile bike).

Handstand/handwalk!

Figure skating jumps - currently on a waltz. :/

Skatpark tricks - I would LOVE to handplant, but right now some stalls and 50/50s would make me so happy.

Habituals:
Run 28 miles a week.
Strength train 3x week.
Plyometrics once a week.
Overspeed training once a week.
Stretch EVERY DAY!!!

My Program:
Roller derby practice 3-5x week.
Strength training usually every day, but not enough.
Interval running - currently 9.5mph 1 min/ 4mph 30 sec (I'm trying to stick to intervals only because pace runs hurt my explosiveness).

I'm 5' 7", 25 years old and female.
I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico, though I grew up in Texas.

Thanks for the comment! I totally agree with you -- my instructor's logic is a little whack. I definitely feel better eating high veggie.

My husband and I went out to dinner last night, and he ordered a Monte Cristo. I applaud him for eating only half of it and saving the other half, but I feel gross just thinking of it.

I'd much rather spend my calories on good food!

Well you can certainly *reveal* definition that way, just not sure if you can build it up. But if you've ever seen a seriously too-thin person (like, ED thin) and you can see the little outlines of their muscles you realize that even people who are cannibalizing muscle tissue (and hence have very little of it to show) can show definition if their body fat is low enough.

Check out www.bunklers.com. You're going to love her, I predict. She's a normal person--a real-estate agent, actually--not a bodybuilder or a fitness model, but MAN is she cut. She eats perfectly clean damn near 100% of th etime, and she's really honest about how she wants to eat junk food and it tastes good, but it'd be incompatible with what she wants. She says "eat exciting food, have a boring body. Eat boring food, have an exciting body!" which I love :)
