I'm tracking my food and trying to stay within the calorie range. I do cardio 3 days a week for an hour. I do strength training 3 days a week for an hour. I am lactose intolerant and gluten sensitive, so that restricts my diet quite a bit.
I am a mom of 2 teenagers and a school teacher. I enjoy jogging, photography and reading!
Strive for progress, not perfection.
How often do you track your food? I track after every meal on my Sparkpeople app or nutrition tracker (depending upon if home or away). If I can't get to my app (in the remote national parks of the west) I just use a steno pad and update when I get back to my tracker. I find tracking is ESSENTIAL to my journey and I track EVEN when I go over. That's when it's MOST important and when many people quit tracking. You will go over by LESS if you track and you will remember next time you are tempted the actual "cost".
