My Motivation Station
I started lifting weights when I was 48 & started competing in Figure when I was 50. I loved the diets and the workouts and was really proud of myself even though I didn't do very well on stage. After my third contest I decided that my ego didn't need any more beating and that I didn't need to get on stage to have the body I loved. Then I went straight back to my old habits of eating candies, chocolate bars, crackers and chips and drinking lots of booze. Since then, every time I try to diet or ...

After my third contest I decided that my ego didn't need any more beating and that I didn't need to get on stage to have the body I loved. Then I went straight back to my old habits of eating candies, chocolate bars, crackers and chips and drinking lots of booze. Since then, every time I try to diet or even try to just eat clean for one day, something inside freaks out. I won't deny myself anything . . . and on it goes. But, I have a Spark Buddy and I'm checking off all my goals and gathering spark points, so hopefully the motivation will come back soon. :)

My Goals:
Goal #1 - lose 1 pound. - did it -yay! Goal #2 - lose another pound. Goal #3 - take it from there.
My Program:
I'm currently following Reg Park's 5x5 with cardio every other day and (supposed to be)walking or doing yoga in the evenings.
Personal Information:
I live in Barrie Ontario with my husband Bob and our 2 cats and 1 dog. I am a homebody and rarely go anywhere besides work and the gym but I'm planning to change that this year.
Other Information:
I spend way too much time on the internet and I'm afraid that is going to be where I find the time to work on goals. But I really do want to be more productive.
