I started SP at the end of June 2010, I was dedicated for the entire summer and made time for me, even with three young children, 6,5 &1 (at the time). I lost 22 pounds with SP and I was so proud of myself. Then school started for the kids again, my husband started working swing shift and one more time I put myself on the back burner. I have not logged in to SP in over 9 weeks, for that matter I have not done one minute of exercise in the same amount of time. Unless you count walking for 2 hours around the neighborhood trick or treating on Halloween.
I am back to feeling tired and the scale is scary to me now. I remember how I used to get so excited for it to be weigh in day because I knew my number was going down, now I just cringe at the sight of it!
Well NO MORE! I am back again, I thought I didn't need the support and that SP was just something I got hooked on, well guess what I did get hooked. But it turns out that I really do need the frends I have made here and the challenges we strive to finish together are what keep me going. I feel like I am not alone when I talk to my SP friends and that is better than all the diets in the world. I never actually dieted for day when I was uing SP during the summer, I just made sure I was more aware of what I was eating and WHY I was eating and the number one thing was that I was active! I was so obsessed with getting the maximum amount os sparkpoints daily that I lost every week and the weeks that I didn't loose, I knew exactly why and it was ok.
I cannot thank Chris Downey enough for starting this site, it has proven to be my salvation.
Basically I found that I am a better me when I am on SP, and guess what, I like this woman, she is awesome and dedicated and active and so much more healthy in every sense of the word! I have found her again and I do not want to loose her this time!
I will make time for me and not put me on the back burner EVER again!
I want to be able to do my Body Flow class with ease!
I want to complete the C25K once and for all!
