So went today. Down 3.4. Dietician wasn't impressed. She said one can lose 2 lbs a week. So the 45gm is the maximum for a meal. The idea is to eliminate the valleys (like when you want to eat the house) because the proteins will keep it even. Carbs are what triggers the highs and lows in blood sugar. It's almost like eating like a diabetic except also low fat. She said the reason Americans are so overweight is because we eat way too many carbs. It really is a mind shift.
Right now I'm about to go out in the backyard and munch on the grass with the bunnies. emoticon

You can look at a mountain as a wild place of beauty to view or paint or photograph from a safe distance; or a wild place capable of destruction like Mount St. Helens. Or you can look at it as a wild challenge that you take on one step at a time. When you begin the challenge you'll have no idea how long it will take to get to the top, but you know you will with the support of your team.

At the Weekly Challenge(s) Team, we'll help you climb that mountain. You'll find us on the rocky slopes, the shady valleys, the wild flower meadows, the glacier lakes. New Challenges are starting every Sunday.

I'll be watching for your posts at the Weekly Challenge Team

I did go on the river cruise! It was great as always and just missed all the flooding there. It was cold while we were there and we didn't have enough warm clothes. Everyone just kept wearing the only warm clothes they had.
Lots of history-castles and beautiful scenery.
I went to a dietician today. My insurance covered it and since my weight is creeping up I thought I'd see what she had to say. I told her I used Spark and she knew about it. On her plan heavy protein, low carbs.
Still battling my hip, knees and now ankle. It's like a domino effect and then it adds to weight gain due to reduced exercise.
Hope you're doing we'll. I'll look at your page in a second.
Thanks for checking up on me.
