Hi, boy did we luck out this morning!! I was prepared for the freezing rain that the weather people have been predicting all week, so it was almost a miracle when the sun came out and the course was dry and clear! I ran a bit slower this time, but it was a happy race with lots of space on the course and a nice finish. After my shower, I took a nice long nap, and now am watching the Beavers game in front of the fire. Sometime tomorrow I'm going to get to the grocery store to buy Thanksgiving food, hopefully when the store's not too crowded. I'm thinking about 9:00am then I'll have it done. No big feast for us this year. We are having delicious spinach and feta stuffed chicken breasts, roasted winter vegetables, and an overnight green salad with cranberries and almonds. This is the best shape I have ever been in going into the holidays, and I want to keep it that way!! I do love leftover turkey though, maybe I'll buy one after Thanksgiving if they go on sale! Happy weekend!
Hi, thanks for stopping by to check out my blog. I am working on ways to make myself get out in the cold weather and keep exercising! Just putting my running gear on and walking around the house for a while seems to get me motivated to get out there. It will be a very cold race at 43 degrees or lower that morning so it's good to have some training outside to be ready! Hope you have a positive day!!
