Hello, thanks for visiting my page!

I'm tired of being overweight, out of shape and unmotivated. I feel much older than I really am -- I'm in my early 40's and there are more days than not that I feel twice that old. :(

My family has a history of cancer, heart disease, and diabetes. I just don't want to be another statistic.

It's time for me to lose 50lbs and be the person on the outside that I am on the inside: happy, active, vivacious, and healthy!!! :)

My Program:
I have been a lacto-ovo-pescatarian since I was 17. After college and well into my early 30's, I became a junk-food-atarian. My poor eating habits have put a strain on my health. :(

I am putting a halt to the junk food, the lazy eating habits and focusing on making healthier food choices. More fruit and veg, less (or no) processed foods.



Personal Information:
The heaviest I have ever been was close to 230lbs; that was in 2001. Since then, I dropped down to 218lbs and kept it off until 2010 when I joined SparkPeople.com. That's when I got a grasp on understanding how to lose weight, be fit and strong and realise how to reach the goals I wanted for so long.
