If I want to lose weight then I have to take it seriously and put in the work. I did this to myself and it's up to me to put in the work, make the effort and follow-through.

Fitness Minutes: 13,499

My Goals:
-Get my wind back

-Spend more time outside PLAYING with my children instead of watching them play

-Stop hiding in my house because of my weight

-Walk up a flight of stairs w/o becoming out of breath

-Buy clothes that fit

-Get my weight down enough to have a healthy BMI

-Lose inches off my chest, stomach. butt and thighs

-Stop making jokes about myself because of my weight in order to make others more comfortable with me

-Learn how to take a compliment and not turn it into a put down

-Love myself again inside and out

My Program:
Diets don't work for me. The sucess that I have FINALLY begun to enjoy, has come from me being honest with myself and realizing that I have to make this journey to health and self awareness one day at a time. I became overweight over time and it is going to take time for me to get it off and keep it off. I've also realized that I have to deal with the issues and outside influences that contributed to my current state of obesity. For me it's not about being skinny, my focus is on being healthy and remembering how to LOVE the beautiful person that I am inside and OUT!

Personal Information:
I'm from Ohio but reside in VA. I'm married with a blended family of eight children. I've always been bigger than my siblings and friends during school. I was in WAY better shape back then because I did a lot of volunteer work outdoors, took a dance class and did a jazzercise class for fun. Back then I was between a size 9-12 which compared to my peers was BIG. I was solid toned, flat-tummied. I put on 169 pounds in 3 years.

Other Information:
I love to read, when I have time, I love to cook just about as much as I love to eat.
