My Goals:
*Eat more sensibly and healthier

*Become more active on a regular basis

*Be aware of when I am actually hungry while I''m eating

*Cut back on the sweets, especially ice cream

*Be a better example for my daughter

*Take my thyroid medicine regularly in order to help maintain my weight and energy level.

*Cut back on watching tv so much so that I''m not sitting down every minute I''m awake.

*Actually leave my desk for lunch breaks.

I SO see that one pound loss, girl!!! Way to go. Keep up the good work.

On another note, you really need to get computer access for your home. I am gonna be so sad if you have to disappear because of your job! :( Get Moses to fix that damn computer!! NOW!

Hey a pound and a half is great!! Seriously.... I heard it's recommended that the best way to lose weight is slowly and gradually and that by losing about a pound a week (4-5 lbs. a month) that you will be able to sustain the weight loss. Sooooo with that said, I too actually lost about a pound this week. I've been eating smaller portions and finally started to eat breakfast so all my binge eating has stopped. I've cut back on sweets (which is my biggest problem) as well. As for the exercise, hmmmmmm..... I started to walk around the track at a local high school but haven't been walking as much as I should. I've started out with just a mile each time. Hopefully this week I"ll be able to walk two miles instead.... Hey thanks for notifying Jessica. I'm now officially a part of the team!! Yay!! TTYL.
